Our Training Program is licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). Our Caregiving courses have undergone a rigorous review that has been checked for accuracy by ADHS.

We teach Personal Care, Supervisory Care, and Directed Care classes. Our program teaching methods consists of lectures, videos, in-services, and student hands-on participation exercises. This class is a 62 hour course. Students must pass a post–test for each course component before graduating and receiving a Caregiving certificate.

Our program provides a positive caring environment that inspires students to encourage clients to reach their full potential. We focus on teaching wellness and keeping clients as independent as possible.

Our approach provides the ideal solution for students whose primary goal is to become a caregiver dedicated to helping clients who need assistance with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing and medication reminders. Our training program teaches the caregiver essential hands on skills such as:
  • Personal hygiene and grooming
  • Dressing and clothes selection
  • Medication management
  • Continence management
  • Showering or bathing
  • Socialization and activities
  • Mobility and transferring
  • Monitoring of safety
Students also learn the varying stages of Alzheimer’s and Dementia, Behavioral changes, Depression, Fall Risks, and how to Communicate and care for someone experiencing these symptoms. Our students understand that each client is an individual with unique needs and preferences.
